First
printied and online edition of the newsletter Distributive
Justice were presented in April this year as a part of
the homonymous project on the Biennale of Young Artists,
Big Torino, 2002 in Italy, both english and italian version.
The June issue (1) was printed in german and english language
as a part of the project participating on exibition Dokumenta
11 in Kassel, Germany. The purpuse of the newsletter is,
through journalistic genre, to stimulate dialog and two-way
communication between authors and assistents with audience,
in other parts of the project during three years of its
planned development (2001-2003).
Some of the topics and questions raised through discussions,
exhibitions and online forums will be further elaborated
in the reports and essays in printed edition. On the other
hand some of the questions raised in newsletter will initiate
the topics on lectures, discussions and online forum.
The newsletter will try to reach wide audience, interested
in various aspects of social and cultural issues related
to the distributive justice theory an phenomenon, mainly
in Croatia and neighbouring transitional countries but
in wider international and cultural context. Looking from
this angle, the newsletter is also an experimente with
the sample of 16 pages in current and, hopefully,
48 in next, croatian-english edition in autumn this year.
